Frito-Lay Awards C.H. Robinson Worldwide "Inbound Supplier of the Year"

 

Minneapolis, MN, July 13, 2009— Frito-Lay, the convenient foods business unit of PepsiCo, named C.H. Robinson, one of the world's largest third party logistics (3PL) providers of transportation and supply chain services, their "Inbound Supplier of the Year" for continually exceeding their service and execution expectations.

Rodney Noble, Frito-Lay transportation procurement senior group manager, said, "C.H. Robinson's commitments to service, execution and dedication to our business were the main factors in selecting them for this award. They have been very diligent with helping us find ways to reduce Frito-Lay's carbon footprint through backhaul, among other initiatives.
