Amanda’s Story

I first learned about C.H. Robinson at my college's career fair. I was looking for an internship to complete my bachelor's degree and applied with C.H. Robinson. I was given a position in the Logistics Services Group (LSG) within one of the sourcing branches doing daytime operations. Six months later, I completed my internship and was brought on full time. Shortly after that, I moved into a newly created position supervising the daytime operations group. A year later, I helped create the Centralized Appointment Scheduling group and supervised that for 4+ years.

Eventually, I began looking for a new challenge and chance to grow, which brought me to my current position as a learning and development specialist on the Performance Improvement Team. Today I work with the sourcing and global forwarding branches to make the onboarding process as successful as can be for new employees.
